builDx does not have a backend server. We do not collect, store, or process any of your personal data on our systems. All your project data is stored locally on your device using a private database.
All construction project data you enter in builDx — including materials, expenses, vendors, site photos, drawings, and payments — is stored only on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to sync it to your own Google Drive account.
If you choose to connect your Google account, builDx uses Google Drive to back up your project data. This sync happens directly between your device and your personal Google Drive account.
builDx may request access to your camera and photo library to attach site update photos and drawing images to your projects. Photos are stored only on your device and in your Google Drive if you have sync enabled. We do not upload your photos to any third-party server.
builDx may request access to your device storage to attach PDF drawings and documents to your projects. These files are stored only on your device and optionally in your Google Drive.
builDx does not use any analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not track your usage, location, or behavior inside the app.
The core features of builDx work without creating any account. A Google account is only required if you choose to use the Google Drive sync feature.
builDx is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
